CONDITION: Decent - there are some signs of wear consistent with the laptop’s age, as well as the following issues: the keyboard is sticking out a bit in the top left hand corner – one of the retaining latches is broken; all the original rubber feet are missing and replacement feet have been fitted; there are some pressure marks on the screen, as well as a bit of backlight bleed on the edges (really only visible on solid black background). With a decent (2GHz, 2MB cache) CPU and a dedicated GPU this laptop makes a very competent XP gaming choice. The Geforce 9300GS is by no means a powerhouse by modern standards, but it does very well in DX9 and older titles – it is often possible to enable maximum details at the screen’s native 1366x768 resolution and get very good frame rates. You will have no trouble running older titles from the Windows 3.11 era, Windows 95/98/ME as well as “proper” XP titles like Torchlight or Spore.
